Friday 28th August | Google Docs is your personal translator

Google Docs can now translate your documents into 42 different languages. This could well be appealing to international businesses who need to send documents across to colleagues abroad. This feature will again add weight to Google's battle against Microsoft Office 2010 which will also be made available online. Source - PC Pro.

Thursday 27th August | Vodafone 3G speeds up

Vodafone has upgraded their mobile broadband 3G service in some parts of the country. Users in parts of London, Birmingham and Liverpool will be able to benefit from increased connection speeds. Source - PC Pro.

Wednesday 26th August | Mozilla discovers hole in Google Chrome

Mozilla has discovered a flaw in Google's web browser, Chrome. Although they are rivals, Mozilla were happy to help out Google by pointing this problem out. Google has now fixed this potential problem. Source - PC Pro.

Tuesday 25th August | Searching for Katie Price could be troublesome

If your trawling (I'm sure your not!) the Internet for gossip relating to Katie Price, there is a 16.3% chance that the search results contain some sort of Malware which will attempt to install itself on your computer. Happy surfing! Source - PC Pro.

Monday 24th August | Upgrade three family computers to Windows 7 for £150

Microsoft has announced that a family pack of Windows 7 will be available. The family pack allows up to three computers to be upgraded from Windows XP or Windows Vista to Windows 7. This pack will cost £150. If you have Windows XP though, you will need to perform a clean installation. Source - PC Pro.

Friday 21st August | BT broadband upgrade could slow some people down!

Some people's broadband connection could actually slow down as a result of BT's upgrade work. Due to the limitations of copper, some people could see their connection drop. BT stresses this will only affect a minority of customers. Source - PC Pro.

Thursday 20th August | Windows 7 could retail for £65

Windows 7 could retail for as little as £65 for the Home Premium edition. This, for a change, is cheaper that are friends across the pond will be paying. This comes a surprise, with some software still being cheaper if your flew to the US, bought the software and flew back again. Source - PC Pro.

Wednesday 12th August | Picasa3, we like it!

For some time we have been using Google's Picasa3 for our scanning and photo editing. It is completely free and is superb for basic photo editing. Sure, it won't be good enough for hardware photo enthusiasts out there, but it's certainly good enough for us.

Thursday 6th August | Twitter goes AWOL after cyber attack

Twitter disappeared for several hours today after it was subject to a denial of service attack. We wonder how many people panicked when they couldn't access Twitter for a short while?
