Biography of Lucid Computer Solutions Owner, Gavin Moorhouse.

Besides listening to my walkman and playing football, I also had an interest in IT and Computers at school.

Once my education was finished at school I opted to go on to college to continue my education. Having completed a National Diploma in Computing I still wasn’t ready for the ‘real world’ so I went on to University. Having achieved a degree in Business Information Technology with Computing it was time for full time employment…

My first position was as an IT Support Officer for Bodycote Lawlabs. This was a fun role and my technical support skills were developed quickly thanks to ever changing environment of the business. I developed this role as far as I could and once all of my goals were achieved I decided a new challenge was in order.

OGL was my next stop were I worked as a Senior Field Engineer in their Pro Active Support Team. This role exposed me to many new technologies and again my technical skills were developed further. This also gave me valuable experience in handling customers on site whilst they were suffering from scenarios such as a server down on loss of Internet connection.

In June 2008 I formed Lucid Computer Solutions Ltd.
