Scareware computer viruses are on the rise. We have seen a big rise in these types of problems over the last six months. Scareware is basically when something is installed onto your computer and tells you that you have major problems and the only way to solve them is to buy a particular product. If you then buy product, you lose your money, or is some cases, your details are used fraudulently.

Friday 2nd October | IBM to rival Google Mail
IBM is to rival Google by launching its own email services. Similar to Google mail, it will be web based. IBM hope to capitalise on Googles recent outage problems. We think that it will have a hard time overcoming Google though, who have been in this market from what seems like a lifetime. Source - PC Pro.

Windows 7 is launched later on this month, which is exciting and very interesting. Predications are for this latest offering from Microsoft to outsell XP and Vista put together in pre-orders. We expect this to become really big over the Christmas (yes, it's not long now!) period with some clever TV marketing from Microsoft.
